Recently, there has been confusion and concern surrounding changes announced at the federal level regarding routine childhood immunization recommendations. During times like these, families deserve clear, consistent, and medically sound guidance.

Please know that we remain committed to providing care that is guided by science, experience, and what is best for children—just as pediatricians have done for generations.

With that in mind, Centennial Valley Pediatrics will follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for Immunizations.

Hep B given at hospital

2 months

6 months + (yearly)

Children under 8 years of age should receive 2 doses of the first when they start the influenza vaccine

12 months

(2nd shot: 6-12 months after the first shot)

If started at 15 years; 3 doses-2nd shot; 2 months after first shot; 3 doses-3rd shot; 6 months after first shot
